Studio for Creative Inquiry

Graphic Design, Branding

Between 2009-2010 in my time at Carnegie Mellon, I worked for artist Golan Levin's collaborative studio in the College of Fine Art, which supported various art projects, visiting artists, and conferences that had to do with the crossover of arts and technology. These are some logos and works I created while working for the office.

STUDIO FOR CREATIVE INQUIRY LOGO

I created a new logo for the STUDIO itself. It was hand-stitched and the font is modeled after the iconic neon sign that hangs above the space in the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon.

MOON ARTS GROUP LOGO AND PROMOTIONAL PIECES

Logo and visual system developed for an initiative to send art to the moon, by way of a Google Space X challenge craft being developed at the time at CMU. I created this logo for use on promotional materials and created a foldable pamphlet to distribute to other departments and colleges.

MOBILE ART && CODE CONFERENCE BOOKLET

Custom poster design created for the first annual Watson Festival Across The Arts. I developed the poster design as well as the folding structure that can be easily distributed to other colleges and offices, oversaw print production process, live-checked the color (we chose to use a custom spot color ink for that hot fiery orange) and ensured timely delivery for the conference.
